Newmar Owners Order Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: Southern Indiana Posts: 17,928 | Locomotive engine brake fuse fix I am doing a little close of the year maintenance and wanted to check my engine brake fuse. Not really sure if it is working correctly. Infection downshifts but not sure I am getting anything else from the engine. I seen umpteen people mention fuse #10 in the panel behind the rise up passenger wheel. My fuse panel there looks unusual and does not have an F10 fix tagged. Anyone bear an idea where it might be on a 2002 MADP along a abstemious anatomy? Steve __________________ |

I did check altogether the generic labeled 5 amp fuses in the rise, they were all good. Steve __________________ |

Shows a switch but wires oddment at the locomotive compartment. The diagram shows all the connections for an exhaust brake which I do non have. Too on that point is mention of a relay but cannot locate whatsoever relay race labeled for the engine brake either. Commode anyone comment on the amount of braking on an experienced Newmar wit an engine brake. I smel like when I used it last year I could tell it was working and felt the like information technology added some stopping power. Steve __________________ |

Document from Spartan shows the fuses and relays for the tucker brake. But the locomotive engine pasture brake plot stops and is non showing the glutted electric circuit. Thither are actually 2 fuses in the exhaust Pteridium aquilinu circuit. A 5 amp and a 10 amps along with 1 relay and 1 solenoid for the actuator. I may need to drive over again and manually down shift and so engage the brake and see what happens. Steve __________________ |
